What are Grand Hunts in WoW Dragonflight?
Grand Hunts inDragonflightareopen-world eventsthat level up yourRenown with Maruuk Centaur.In the final season,you must complete Grand Hunts for the weekly quest.
You cancomplete as many Grand Hunts as you want per week,and the events can appear in all four zones of the Dragon Isles—the Waking Shores, Ohn’ahran Plains, the Azure Span, and Thaldraszus. Each time you start a Grand Hunt,you’re taskedwith completing six different quests that vary in both difficulty and type of quest.You’re askedto collect materials, hunt down rare mobs, kill wild animals, orjust help outanimals in need.
Remember, you get Hunt Spoils rewards for completing only three Grand Hunts. You can continue farming the event for additional reputation or to complete achievements.
How to unlock Grand Hunts in WoW Dragonflight
To unlock Grand Hunts inDragonflight, you need tocomplete the main storyline of the Maruuk Centaurtribe and unlock Renown with them. After that, you need toreach level five Renownwith the tribe. To do that, complete world quests, main storylinequests, and side quests related to them. After you reach Renown level five, Grand Hunts start spawning across the isles.Grand Hunts,like otherDragonflightopen-world events, are marked with a battle horn icon on your map.
How to start Grand Hunts in WoW Dragonflight
To start a Grand Hunt in a zone, travel tothe zonewhere the next Grand Hunt is happening. You can easily spot them since you’ll see the horn icon. The hunts are always active and usually move every two hours unless players complete it early.
How to complete Grand Hunts in WoW Dragonflight
After you travel to the zone where Grand Hunts are taking place, you have six unique tasks to complete. The quests vary from zone to zone, but they usually start by finding the Grand Hunt. Then, you’ll be sent to yournextlocation to start completing the quests. As we already mentioned, the quests are to either gather reagents or kill wildlife, so you’ll just need to follow the instructions in your quest log.

Grand Hunts rewards in WoW Dragonflight
Completing a single task of Grand Hunt awards you15 reputation with Maruuk Centaur. On top of that, you get Grand Hunt spoils each time you complete the event. Completing the first Grand Hunt of the week grants you a Grand Hunt Spoils satchel of Epic quality, the second one grants you asatchelof Rare quality, and the third hunt awards you with asatchelof Uncommon quality.
- Epic quality Grand Hunt Spoils contain 20 Centaur Hunting Trophies, 50 Dragon Isles Supplies, one Passing Renascence, and a chance at the Plainswalker Bearer mount and hunting companion customizations.
- Rare quality Grand Hunt spoils grant you 15 Centaur Hunting Trophies, 50 Dragon Isles Supplies, and a chance at hunting companion customizations.
- Uncommon quality Grand Hunt Spoils contain 10 Centaur Hunting Trophies, 50 Dragon Isles Supplies, and a chance at hunting companion customizations.
In Patch 10.2.7 Grand Hunts will also drop gear, Flightstones and Whelpling’s Crests you can later use to upgrade your gear to higher item levels. On top of that, you get a chest containing high item level gear for completing the weekly quest to finish one Grand Hunt.
