Each week, players will want to participate in three Grand Hunts to maximize their rewards. Each Hunt has six unique quests to be completed, and each individual task will give renown points with the Maruuk Centaur. Dragonflight's Maruuk Centaur's best renown rewards have a chance of dropping after the first completed Grand Hunt each week when the coveted Epic quality Satchel of Spoils will be awarded, with a possible mount drop inside. The second Grand Hunt of the week will award a Rare quality satchel, and the third will have an Uncommon quality satchel.

How To Participate In WoW's Weekly Grand Hunts

The Grand Hunts take place in more than just their home area of the Ohn'ahran Plains. These nomadic hunters travel throughout the Dragon Isles, so players will need to keep an eye out for them if they want to participate, as each event is only available for around two hours until the group moves on and have to be tracked down again. Players won't be able to see these Grand Hunts at all, however, until they are respected enough by the Maruuk Centaurs. Under WoW: Dragonflight's new renown system players will have to reach level five Renown with the tribe before Grand Hunts will begin to spawn in the world.

The Grand Hunt Spoils satchels provide players with many possible rewards. The first Hunt of the week will award players with an Epic quality spoils bag which could contain a Plainswalker Bearer mount, a leatherworking pattern for a Fierce Armor Kit, several pieces of gear, or customizations for hunting companions, among other rewards.

The mammoths of the Ohn'ahran Plains, aren't typically used to carrying passengers as the Maruuk Centaurs obviously do not require mounts. The Plainswalker Bearer is an exception where it has learned to happily transport a passenger and is outfitted perfectly to do so. This ground mount is only acquired through the Grand Hunts of the Maruuk Centaurs, but once unlocked it will be an account-wide mount. Currently, it is still a fairly rare World of Warcraft mount with only a 3% drop rate.

Dragonflight's Gear and Customization Options Available In The Grand Hunt Spoils Satchels

Each of the three quality Spoils satchels includes chances for special gear to drop. Most of these pieces are item level 350, with a couple of trinkets having an item level of 398, and there are several color customizations for the Ohuna and Bakar hunting companions. Other potential rewards include complete outfits and armor styled after the Ohn'ahran and Ottuk.
